Have been. Generally people’s hunger increases in winter, but there are some people who consider themselves lucky if they get 2 chapatis in a day. Just after understanding this problem very closely, Pandit Gopal Pujari of Ghaziabad established Shyam Rasoi. Which today provides a full meal to about 600 to 700 people every day for just Re 1.
Pandit Gopal Pujari, founder of Shyam Rasoi, has been running this kitchen for 2 years. Which started when people were stuck where they were due to the lockdown due to the Covid pandemic. In such a situation, Gopal Pujari started distributing food to the needy people. After which gradually many people started coming to the temple premises. When the number of people increased, it was decided to start Shyam Rasoi so that the needy people could continue to get a full meal at Re 1.
Where is Shyam Rasoi?
About 600 to 700 people eat food in Shyam Rasoi every day. Which contains roti, rajma-rice, chickpea-rice, curry rice etc. Vegetables are changed daily. Common people help in running this kitchen. In which people give ration, after which our team prepares food. Talking about timing, food is available from 1 pm to 3 pm, this kitchen is near Shyam Park metro station.
This is the rule of the kitchen

This is a kitchen rule. Due to the low price, people might think that the quality would be very poor, but it is not so.
